    but just to ket you know, i downloaded it and installed it but nothing happened, i got a wlan utility program that does absolutely nothing!!!

    if you find the solution please tell me aswell

    hi and welcome to the forums :) can you not go to device manager and un-install the driver you have for the LAN then reboot the pc and let windows re-install ?(make sure you are connected to the internet)
