    Thermaltake Hardcano 13 driver

Hello , Im new here . I recently installed Windows 7 x32 and everything went well untill I tried my thermaltake hardcano 13 fan controller/ card reader . The problem is the card reader , the mass storage devices show up in my computer but when I put an sd card in , windows can't find it , windows did install a driver for it but it doesnt work . I tried an xp driver and tried to run it in compatabilty mode but that didnt work. I looked in device manager and I have yellow exclamation points for 4 mass storage devices , I went to thermaltakes site and found no driver at all . So does anyone have any ideas ? Help would be greatly appreciated , also forgot to mention windows list an error code 43

Did you try going to the manufacturers website to see if they have a driver for Windows 7?

I've done a quick search and I can't seem to find any drivers for Windows 7 for it anywhere. I also took a quick look at their forums, hardly active btw, and no one has made mention of it. So I would recommend you contact them directly: Welcome to Thermaltake

They'll be able to point you in the right direction. That is of course, unless someone around here has come across this issue and has a resolution for you :) Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck!

Could try possibly posting a screen shot of the hardware id and look for a compatible driver from their. Right click on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id. Copy and Paste the id string. The card reader could be manufactured by one of the 3 major readers for laptops and a compatible driver found. especially since your running 32 bit. Just an idea might be worth a try. Fabe
