    Hp sk-2960 keyb. drivers

I searched the forum but didn't find another thread that would prove helpfull.

My keyboard quick-launch buttons don't work due to the lack of proper drivers. Not that I really need them, they're mostly on the way, but having dvd- drive ejects back would be nice.

I'm running 64 bit system, and I can't find drivers that work. I've tried few, most of which I found from hp's support page, but none of them make any difference. It seems to me that there is no drivers for this keyboard made especially for 64 bit win7.

Some time ago I heard that xp drivers should do just fine. They didn't, so was this just a bad quess or is there some trick for this?

Pardon my language, haven't used my english for a while. And thanks, naturally.

hi kokkelipiima and welcome, have you tried loading the vista 64bit drivers for your keyboard? you will have to run them in compatibility mode , right click on the setup.exe file>properties>compatibility>tick vista> tick run asadmin> apply and ok> exit , right click on setup. exe file again and run as admin

Welcome to Windows Seven. Personally I would like to know more about the keyboard is it a multi media, wireless or ps2 board? Their seem to be a lot of choices on HP UK site. But if it is the HP_Wireless_Deluxe_Desktop. Then they do offer Vista 64Bit as pebbly has suggested located here HP Wireless Deluxe Desktop Combo Driver HP USB Multimedia Keyboard - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English) release 06-11-2009 HP_Wireless_Deluxe_Desktop.exe file size 8.94mb. If this is the one you use as suggested compatibility mode to install Compatibility Mode Hope we have helped you with this. Please post back. Also please as a new member go to your user cp located at the top of the page click on it>scroll down and on the left hand side select edit system specs. Fill in as much information as you have on your system. It helps others to help you. Thanks Fabe

It's ps2. This is some cheap peace of hardware that came with the computer, so I doubt if there even is any driver updates for this.

    I'll fill the system info.

Didn't find matching drivers, even though this computer came with vista 64 installed. I bet I'll just forget about it untill I really need any of these buttons.

    Thanks for your efforts.

Hello and welcome to the Seven Forums.

HP QuickLaunch Buttons have know compatibility issues with Seven. I have several HP's, both desktops and laptops, and this is the one and only HP utility I refuse to install on my rigs.

Nice to have more Finns here!
