    Nvidia 7950 disabled by windows

I just installed windows 7 ultimate, and after installing the correct drivers for my graphics card, it shows up in device manager, but in its properties it says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
I have tried several different drivers but to no avail. Could this be a conflict with the cheap onboard video? This is really frustrating, as after all my hdd's were erased win7 doesn't even work

Was this a clean install or and upgrade over another OS? If an upgrade, what OS was upgrade from? If you could please fill in your system specs with a little more detail this would help us out a lot.

I found this: Explanation of error codes generated by Device Manager in Windows XP Professional
