Just put win 7 on PC poor resolution

I got this message current graphics adaptor won t support the Windows Aero user, I have a dell demension 3000 and I have Generic PNP Monitor on standard VGA graphics adator, when I put on 1024 x 768 I miss such things like I cant see box in google were you type, 800x600 the font appears to big, really need help, love the win 7 dont want to go back to xp even it was also great, is the a drive I can download ,I have lastest graphics adator when I ran an update option.
Open to any ideas cheers

I have the same machine as you, and I had the same problem. I ran the Upgrade Advisor afterward, and sure enough, there is no Windows 7 support for that video card.

I'm sorry to say you'd probably be better off sticking XP back on that machine.

Sorry I can't bring better news.
