I have a panasonic NV-GS230 video camera. When i connect it to Windows 7/32 bit i only have the webcam. I'm unable to upload my video's from the camera to Windows 7.
When i tried installing the usb drivers i've got the message that they aren't supported in Windows 7. I contacted panasonic about this and they told me i have an unsupported camera (which is only 2 years old).
I now tried installing the USB drivers in the Win XP Mode. But now I get an error that my computer doens't have any supported USB 2.0 ports.
hi baldeagle , download the vista drivers for your camera and run them in compat mode ,run them as administrator , the vista drivers are more compatible than the XP ones

Bonjour,

Sorry,
Of course it's better answering in English... I was just writing I have to face today the same problem as mentionned here .
Searching for some days a useful seven driver, I just find one at the following adress: Panasonic nv-gs230 drivers Win XP Win 7... but It did not yet have tested the file. I'll try this evening and confirm later if it do the job.
Sorry but It was not a valuable solution ! A Troyan horse has been detected as I tried to install the driver... The only solution I found to get back images from my GS230 seem to use the DV port (IEE1394) or a videocomposite adaptator...
