    Says it didn't work, can you use Megaupload or a similar service.

    right sorry about that, are you running it in compatibility mode as adminisrator , if that does not work then i am at a loss :)

    Well the installation worked, but I'm still having the same issues with the camera.

    try using windows movie maker for downloading off the cam Movie Maker - Windows Live

    Solved the problem by making room for a PCI-Express IEEE 1394 card. Everything works fine now XD
