I have a Dell Latitude C400 laptop which I decided to upgrade to Windows 7 and I find that all the XP
drivers work fine with it except for the Intel 82830 video
driver, which means the screen resolution is only about 800 x 600. I have searched the web and it seems Intel have decided not to provide a
driver for Windows 7.
I can't see any reason why the XP
driver wouldn't work except that Intel and Microsoft want us all to buy new hardware. Could any of you clever guys out there hack the XP driver to make it work with Windows 7? There must be loads of C400 laptop owners out there who would pay good money for a driver.
