    Acer aspire one webcam

i upgraded my acer aspire one (AOA150Bb) to windows 7 home premium unfortunately the web cam is not in my computer is there any way of getting it there???

i know i was on here like 2 days ago with a different problem but windows 7 is a hell of a lot better than XP when you get it working.

       Warning
These drivers are for your model computer (AOA150) but they're for Windows XP. Run them in compatibility mode, or download the Win7 drivers for the AOD150 below

    LiteOn 5.8.33.1 Windows XP

    Suyin 1.0.1.3 Windows XP
    http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...C=Acer&SC=PA_6

When you download the program, right click on it, go to properties, click on compatibility, then select Windows Xp from the drop down list.

       Warning
The next drivers are for the AOD150, they're for Win7 and by the same manufacturer, but may not be for the same model webcam

    LiteOn 0.73 Win7 32bit

    Suyin 2.2.2.2 Win7 32bit

There are three different types of webcam that I know of used for the AspireOne.

check your acer documentation to ensure you get the correct drivers - they are I think vista drivers but the one I have worked, so you should be in luck

It's always a good policy to remove any incorrect drivers as they will possibly conflict with the correct one when that is installed.

If you do not have an entry in the add and remove programs you should be able to remove the driver from the device manager (type device into start-search bar)

You mean you can't see it in your "Computer" view from explorer? As long as the camera functions properly, I wouldn't worry.
