Hello everybody, nice to meet you.
I am new in the website, and I do not have a lot of experience like most of the people I have seen writting in this blogs.
I wonder if you may help me with an issue (OK: here goes the sad story)
I am working in Japan and bought the Samsung Omnia from Softkank ( model 930SC) and worked great on XP SP3, but my old laptop crashed and I had to buy a new one in Japan (Gateway NV5900-55K). After updating the drivers and upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate (to change the OS from Japanese to English) I tried to install the Samsung PC suite that I previously used but It has never worked... it always said that the drivers for the Modem and USB were not available.
So I downloaded the following drivers and latest PC suite versions:
I have tried them all in compatibility mode (XP SP3 and Vista SP3), run them as administrator and while the installation seems to go well, the program can't find the phone and it always says that it is not connected.I have selected and double checked the USB connection (no bluetooth or infrared available ) and verified that the phone is not blocked; also Mass storage and MTP synch modes are off, updated the cellphone drivers and a big nothing, so I can't synchronize, funny because the mass storage mode works well .
Does any one has an idea of how to solve this?
Please, I would sincerely appreciate a solution.
