Did you find one?
So did you find a driver? I have the same problem and my scanner works fine why change it when all it needs is this damn driver

If you folks are running W7 Pro or Ultimate your scanners might run in "XP mode" I have a old Canon scanner and the few times I need to use it XP mode works fine.
You may be surprised at the improvement of a new scanner over ones 8-10 years old. I have a 2005 HP printer and an equally old Epson scanner. The printer uses the generic Windows 7 driver but the original scanner driver works. Both sold well before Vista was out. If a device won't work in 7 it is likely outdated, no driver is the same as no power cord, without either it won't work.
I do understand the desire to keep what appears to be a good device going and going and going....
If the OP scanner which was for Win 98/2000 it must be 12 or more years old. Need a new one. :)
