Windows 7: Drivers for Acer Aspire 5610

Hi! My old laptop does not boot anymore. After showing the Windows XP and Acer logo, it goes back to rebooting and it goes on like that. And so I wasn't able to get the drivers saved in its hard disk.

I think the only solution is to reformat my laptop and so I wanted to reformat it with the new windows 7 os. But the problem is I can't find any drivers of the Acer Aspire 5610 for windows 7 and I don't have any recovery CD.

Please help me. I know my laptop is quite old but it is still running okay until this recent problem. Please tell me where can I download the drivers so I can go ahead with reformatting.

You best bet is to use the Windows Vista drivers that are made available by the Acer support site. Most of the time, Vista drivers will work just fine in Windows 7. If they don't you can try installing them in compatibility mode (Right Click Installer, Properties, Compatibility, etc)

You may also need to find LAN drivers if your network card isn't supported by Windows 7 automatically. The ones below are for Windows XP, I highly suggest that you attempt to find Broadcom drivers that work for Vista or 7.

There are no 64-BIT drivers supplied on the website.
