Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) *** Windows XP SP3 (32-bit), OSX 10.6

Hi kcmartz,

Please complete your System Specs. You can look them up by searching "system" in the Start menu search field, and clicking System or System Information; also by typing "dxdiag" there and hitting Enter, then browsing the tabs for the information.

Also, PSU stands for Power Supply Unit.

Cheers,

Download hwininfo32 and run it. It will list your motherboard and CPU. You will have to open your case and look at the sticker on your PSU for that information.

If you run the Belarc Advisor, you get all this information (not PSU though) and a lot more. A very useful tool.

Hello Kcmartz,

In addition, double check these items below to see if they may the issue.
  • You must be have True Color (32 bit) set instead of High Color (16 bit).
  • The desktop composition and Animate controls and elements inside windows options need to be enabled in Visual Effects.
  • The Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and Themes Services need to be set as Started and Automatic.
  • Refresh or update your WEI score. You will need an WEI score minimum of 2.0 in both Graphics & Gaming graphics in order for Aero to be activated.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
