    Missing drivers

Hi guys I am new to this forum. I was running windows xp proffesional on a pc purchased from an old employer about a year ago. The pc has been running fine with no probs. I decided to purchase windows 7, I loaded this on the pc and it all seems to have gone on fine except for 2 issues. The first being that there is no sound card driver the second being there is no ethernet/network card driver. I have looked for the name of these drivers in the list and they are the only 2 coming up unknown. I have checked on the fujitsu web site with no joy and been as I cant cant get on the internet as I cant connect to my bt hub has any one got any suggestions please? Rob

One of my test PC is a N300 with the D1561 mobo.
Download the XP drivers, these work with Win 7.

Thanks Tews, unfortunately i dont get any windows displayed like the ones in your instructions and i certainly dot get a compatability button. I am accessing the drivers through the add items and printers optiuon from the control panel and double clicking on my pc to bring up which drivers I have installed. Is this correct bearing in mind I have windows 7 installed?

    Tews

Thanks for coming back to me so quick, I have only just had chance to try this. Its a no go I am afraid. I go to control panel - device manager - and right click on either my ethernet driver or audio driver (both have a little yellow triangle by them) - click on properties and I have a window woith 4 tabs at the top labeled General, Driver, Details and Resources. Clicking on any of thes options obviously open upsusequent windows but there is definately not anoption labelled copatability any where - Rob

Thanks theog, but already tried that it just opens up a window with 2 options one is to scan your computer and the internet for up dates and one is to browse yourself. Browsing or scanning my computer doesn't work as I have tried and it cant find any drivers. And i cant get on the internet as one of the drivers I am looking for is for my ethernet/ network controller/driver. thanks a lot for suggesting though.

I have uploaded these images (screen shots ) of what I have been trying to explain earlier in my thread and also a text document of info about my computer if that helps any one in being able to solve my problem with the missing drivers.

Browse the folder with the drivers you downloaded.

You may need to UNZIP the download.
