USB Disabled on every reboot. Code 10 in device manager Hi,
Recently I got a problem with my Windows 7 Professionnal x64: USB driver are disabling themself on every reboot.
I have to uninstall all the USB devices in device manager and after they reinstall automatically.
I have a Toshiba Tecra Notebook.
I tried an hard reset: uninstall the battery and the power cord and then push on the power button for 1-2 minute. Nothning.
I tried uninstalling usb drivers on Whitout crash mode. Nothing.
I tried uninstalling quick time and itunes (that solve his problem: Wifi, WLAN and USB drivers disable after every reboot). Nothing.
I tried installing the latest chipset driver found here: Mettez niveau votre PC TOSHIBA avec Windows 7. Nothing.
I don't know what to do. Please help me.
And excuse my bad english, I speak french. | My System Specs |

I tried what you said. Works fine, every port seem ok, but after rebooting, I got the same problem.
But after I doing what you said I got that problem:
After checking on other forum, I got this thread: USB ports stopped working right...
He got exactly the same problem and this is exactly after putting a fake flash drive into my usb port.
This guy solve it by repairing windows 7.
I'll try this this night. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba Tecra A10 OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26 GHz Memory 4GB |
