I just did some reading at the sites and it told me the answer.
The first one says it is compatible with Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit so I guess that is not right.
The second choice says it is compatible with WinXP | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo Desktop H420 OS Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) CPU Intel i3 2100 Motherboard Lenovo LGA1155 MB Memory 4GB of DDR3 memory Graphics Card PCI-E NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Sound Card Build-in on MB Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 23" HD Model 2333 Screen Resolution 1920x 1080 Keyboard Who needs a keyboard? As an alternative, you can create a dock in XP without using any program. Create a folder on the desktop and put the program, folder, URL shortcuts into it that like to have in the dock. Then push this folder all the way into the top of the screen and release it there, the dock will appear.
When you right click on it, you can make settings (e.g. large icons, autohide, etc.). The folder you used for that needs to stay on the desktop. It is the repository for the dock where you can add/delete entries any time. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

@ first replier: thanks man, as you can see I'm blind.
@ second replier: true, but it won't look polished at all. I know what you're talking about, as I used to accidentally make them when dragging folders lol. Those docks look like the Windows 95 version of the other, nicer one shown in the second url. | My System Specs

-edit- woops, thanks. I take it that it's the same as the one others recommended to download? Or probably different. Either way, I'm going with Dell's. | My System Specs

Dinesh...you do realize I'm looking for a Dock compatible with XP right? I mentioned this in the first post.
I typed "edit" because when I went to recheck if "Dell Dock" was indeed missing from the applications category, I forgot to choose XP in the dropdown menu. They don't have it with XP unfortunately. | My System Specs

So...there isn't a Dell Dock from Dell.com that is XP-compatible?
I'd much rather have a Dell Dock by Dell themselves if this was the case... | My System Specs

???
Oh and by the way, over at Vista forums I am being told that the one on the DELLDOCK.COM website has the same 1.5 version as the one like Dell.
In other words, NEITHER are XP-compatible...
But why would the other guy on the Vista forums say this? The one on DellDock.com lists XP down as compatible and yet he's saying it's not compatible...
Is there anyone here who is willing to run the installation on their XP and see how it goes? I've had so many computer issues in the past month as it is and I don't want to start another series of threads to fix another stupid problem...
Please. thanks a lot. | My System Specs | | ...Which Is The Right Dell Dock Download? problems? All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:22 AM.
