It would all depend on weather you are using Windows 7 32 or 64bit OS...

Yes, it would make a difference...

    No...

No remote, and no FM Radio...

Not in the coding for it.

Others have got it to work with other software, but not sure how.
Do a search, you should find it...

    Tutorial?

    Hi to all.
Deanos, or somebody else, is it possible to make a detailed tutorial about how to make the Winfast 2000 xp deluxe to work with windows 7 64 bit? Maybe include all necessary files?
I mean, i pretty much tried everything in this thread but, alas, to no success.
Don't get me wrong. I followed every step written. The video capture driver just won't install. DScaler starts ok but doesn't find a video signal.
    I'm at loss.
    Anybody?

    Hi,
I've never managed to make it work. I use Ubuntu for TV, which is not quite a long term solution. I would also appreciate some detailed tutorial.

WOW! Haven't been here for a while!!!

Anyways... As for the driver not working, I have attached a screen shot of the 64bit driver that has to be installed, but WILL not work correctly!

    Just leave it as is.

As for doing a tutorial, it has been a while and I would love to do one, but once this works, I don't want to touch it!

When my PC breaks and I have to re-install everything, I will definitely put something together with actual screen shots.
But all it is going to be is a picture version of what is mentioned at the begining.
I cannot make it any simpler than that.
Yes, it is a bit tricky, but if you do this from a clean install, it WILL work!

I also stuffed it up by trying to install various other drivers, but ended up re-installing windows and doing it from scratch.

I have done it about 4 times so far and it works EVERY time!
The MOST difficult past is setting up DScaler to work properly!
What a mission! I wish they would release an updated version some time!

Oh well, check out the screen shot, it might be your problem...

    Cheers for now

    This is Great!!!

I just installed windows 7 Pro 64 bit and was getting ready to get rid of this card. I will try your solution once I get home to see if I can get it to work. Thanks again..

OK, here is a link to a RAR I made of the drivers I used...

Quickshare - SA's Quickest File Sharing & Hosting Service

PLEASE NOTE!!!! The Bt848.inf that is already extracted is the modified one for my card and should work for yours! So don't try to change anything!!!!

If you want modify it yourself, then extract the files from the ZIP file.

    There you have it!

    Hope it helps you!
