All of you have te setup disk. Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE attach mxsetup.exe and whatever other small info files are notr on the website, and attach it to an email to me?

I'm desperate here, and Canon has blown me off completely.

Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 Build 7229 x64

I did go through the Manual Port section but didn't try the File option, I kept trying to add an IP etc and then gave up, so tonight I should be right to go...a nice clean install sitting waiting for me to set it up.

Did you install the "My Printer" software or just the print driver and the network recognition software?
I just finished rebuilding my system with Win 7 / 7100 / x64. This time I used the built in Canon MX700 drivers and was able to get it to work. I did manual install choosing "local printer" (not network). Then for port specified "file". Then after it installed I went back into the MX700 properties and ports tab. Selected to "add port" and picked "Canon BJNP" from the list. It then scanned my network and found the MX700.

And to be clear this only enabled network printing via the built in MX700 drivers. I have not been able to enable "fax & scan" functionality without installing the Vista x64 printer and netowrk Driver from the Canon website.

Windows XP, Vista, 7
Build 7260 and MX700

Does anyone know if the driver for the Canon MX700 printer is back in build 7260? And if so does the scanner work? I am using this computer as a server and that is the only problem I am having with Build 7100. I really don't want to take the time to update if that is not fixed. Thanks for the help.
