    Scanner issue

I am not able to have my scanners recognized for PDF creation purposes. I was able to do so with regard to Windows Office Scanning, which recognized my Canon scanner.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Louis

Which scanners do you have? Mine is a canon scanner and I was able to use the latest Vista drivers and installed them in compatibility mode. The drivers are available on the Canon site. If your scanners were working in Vista they should work in Win7 as well with the Vista drivers. Good luck
btw. Koerner your last name? mine too

I had similar problem with my Canon scanner not recognized and found the solution by looking at my VISTA Windows folder and then selecting the twain_32 folder and copy it. Then go to your Windows 7 windows folder and paste it there. Scanner worked just fine after that.

    Good luck to you

i'm having problems with an oldie: Agfa SnapScan 1236u. It's a great scanner, but i can't find the drivers... even installing the program (ScanWise) Win 7 does not recognize it.

Any clues about how to fix this? Thanks.
