Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter fails under RC

    Hi,
my Lenovo S10e Netbook features a Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter Hardware ID DEV_4315 wich used to work perfectly under Win7 7000.

After having installed the RC it sais the driver could not be initialised. Deleting and restarting etc. did not help, Winupdate sais: driver is up to date.

Searching Broadcom's website left me even more confused.....
    any help appreciated!

    Try This,

I have had a few problems with this broadcom adaptor myself.

When I downloaded the optional update for the driver via Windows 7 update system, it seems to stop working properly just really slow like 5kb/sec.

I have not completely figured out how to get it work to its full potential but its working faster now.

Go to your control panel>system and security>system>device manager

expand network adaptors>broadcom 802.11g network adaptor >rightclick_properties>click_driver_tab>click_roll back driver.

This wil take it it to its previously installed driver, restart the sytem and see if that works, it did for me.

Im on 35kb/sec now, really weak wireless signal but its better than nothing

I dont understand how downloading the proper driver makes it not work, stupid!

    Hope this helps!!!
