If there is a bios update available for it, it will only come from Compaq.
Before taking that step go the easy route and make sure that all the chipset/motherboard drivers
are installed and up to date. Just had a look at the download page for that model, Software & Driver Downloads Compaq Presario F767CL Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
and the only bios update for it is from June 2008; doubt it will be of much help as it is older that Windows 7.
The other thing is that they only have drivers for it up to Vista (both 32 and 64 bit). Normally I would just send you do the Nvidia download page and get the drivers directly from them, but with it being a laptop I don't think they would work. The Vista drivers should work, but not sure if they will fix the co-processor driver
