I'm sorry, but I don't think you're going to have any luck.

I also have one of these scanners, and have tried numerous times to get it to work in Windows 7 without any success.
kiwii ,Dwarf is a very respected member on this site ,if he says its no go then im afraid its no go , sorry about that
While I'm sure that's true it doesn't mean that another way may not have been found to get that scanner working.

Hey, I am in need of a windows 7 driver for my Scanner.
Driver needed for Canoscan Lide 30!
    CanoScan LIDE 600F
Canon LiDE 50 Scanner won't install
    Canoscan LIDE20 64bit driver

In just about everyone of those instances, this has worked....

You could try Vuescan from Hamrick if you can't find a driver for the scanner, though the cost of the software/driver will be $40 for the basic, $80 for the pro. There is a trial version to try for 30 days as well.

Supported scanners - VueScan Release Notes

    Good luck

Nothing disrespectful meant. I'm just saying not to be too quick to dismiss any new ideas about solving an old problem.

You might want to give it a try.

I don't partically like advising someone buy a software to get their scanner to work, but it's better than having to purchase a new one. That's why I suggest Vuescan.

Luckily someone provided a hacked inf file to allow the Nikon Scan software for the Nikon Coolscan scanners to work under Window 7 and Vista x64. I have a post here on how to use it - Getting your Nikon Coolscan to work on W7 x64

Perhaps there's something on the net for Canon?
