Windows 7 - Sony ericsson w700i pc suite problem

hello all, i have a se w700i mobile and i used to connect it to my pc via usa cable when i was on xp and it used to work fine but for some reason am not able to install se pc suite for w700i on windows 7.. whenever i run the installer i get the error failed to load resource. when i checked on microsoft site about this problem, its mentioned that, that pc suite isnt compatible so i tried running it in xp and vista compatibility mode but still kept getting the same failed to load resource problem. does anybody know how to get my w700i synced with my pc? and by am using 64 bit win 7. thanks

Have you tried XP mode? You have Windows 7 Ultimate which includes Windows XP virtualization for problems just like this. Download Windows XP Mode

i dont know whats the diff between already installed virtualization and the downloadable xp mode but am downloading it hope it works

This is a complete Windows XP environment that runs within 7 you can try syncing with... It can see the Windows 7 drives so synced files are shareable between 7 and XP mode.

You could try the sonyericsson site that may have a new version of the software and drivers etc you require.
