Windows 7: NewBie Help

Hello ,

I want to install Windows 7 RC.But dont want to get screwed up

I'm newbie.Please answer my queries.My pc config is



CPU :- AMD Athlon 64 LE - 1640
Motherboard :- Gigabyte GA-MA78GM - S2H
Graphic Card :- ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics.


1) Should I install the vista drivers of above in Windows 7 ??

2) I just read that ATI Video Drivers are released.Which one should I download out of these
a) 47.1 MB | Version 9.4 | Catalyst Software Suite
b) 98.7 Mb | Version 8.612 | Windows 7 WHQL Driver

As long as you back up your system in the (quite unlikely) event of a failure you should have no issues install Windows 7. As to what to download have a look at this thread - http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-c...ndows-7-a.html - to see if it helps your decision.

i would suggest using the info here for a little more insurance. windows 7 is an awesome OS and i think you'll love it!
