| | Dear all, Please excuse me for coming back late. Windows 7 ultimate 32 bits worked fine on my Acer 4620. Now, since I have 4GB of RAM, I am thinking of installing the Win 7 ultimate 64 bits. I am doing some search on whether it can be installed or not. Please advise. Thanx a lot |

Thanx a lot only 4Gb of ram not worth the trouble moving to 64bit (if 32bit works good). you will get no noticeable speed increase. (32bit can use around 3-3.5GB of ram but 64bit os uses bit more ram so that 0.5Gb is nothing.) the only reason for changing to 64bit is if you really need to run 64bit native software |
