    Unable to install drivers

    Hello,

It seems that I cannot install drivers for my devices. Whenever I plug a USB/thumb drive, Windows should automatically install the drivers for me to use the device but I can't. I tried plugging 2 different USBs but neither of them won't install nor work. Also, I have an EPSON Stylus T10 printer, I turned it on so that Windows should be able to detect the printer and install the drivers automatically but it won't (I'm stuck at the "Installing device driver software" thing then eventually "The device driver software was not installed bla bla bla"). I even manually installed the drivers using the CD but it says "Product could not be recognized".

    Thanks.

Try updating all your MOBO drivers.

There are many downloads. Could you be specific as to what should I download? I've already updated my chipset but it still doesn't solve my problem.

    Thanks.

My computer won't let me install the drivers manually. I downloaded the drivers but I always encounter an error during install. I tried plugging different devices. E.g. Camera, printer, USB etc.
Their drivers won't install. It FAILS all the time

And it takes too long to access PERFORMANCE INFORMATION AND TOOLS. It also takes too long to Retrieve the system rating.

If it was me I would just start over, do a clean install and see if I still have problems. Sounds to me like the first install got messed up somehow. Did you use an original Windows 7 DVD or a copy?
