| | Win XP Sata Driver on Dual Boot Machine I would appreciate some help on this one please for I am really new at this. I have setup a dual boot on my Toshiba L300 22M laptop with Win 7 and Win XP. In order to install Win XP I changed my AHCI setting in the Bios to Compatibility Mode, then changed it back to AHCI Mode and installed Win 7. What I would like to do is install the Sata Driver for Win XP so that I can start Win XP not having to change to compatibility mode all the time. I have downloaded the storage manager file from the manufacturers website however when I run the .exe file it reports an error that the system specs in unsupported. In the device manager I only have IDE registered nothing about AHCI or SATA, I suppose that is because I am in compatability mode in the bios. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Dave |
