    Drivers for ATI Radeon X1650 Series


    Ok so unfortunately the only OS i have is Windows 7 as my XP disk do not work. Yes I know that sucks.
    I'm usually good with this sort of problem however this time im uncertain Of what i need to do. I kind of understand whats been said in other topics but I would like someone to make it clear on what i need to do with a little more detail then provided in other topics. I need to get Catalyst installed as well

    Open IE8-> navigate here
    Microsoft Update Catalog
    Install plugin.
    Search "ATI X1650" Download the latest for Windows 7 ( Pre-release WDDM 1.0 )

    Extract cab
    Go to Device manager -> VGA -> Update driver -> Point to Folder extracted the cab.

    Done.

    Have ATI card, but not working? PEEP I would try my method first, since its all manual installing for the VIDEO CARD driver. Your good with this sort of stuff, i believe you can handle it. just read, and make sure you make a RESTORE POINT before you do anything. Good luck man. give us an update on with method works.
