Have you tried rolling back the driver? If you had it operational you may be able to retrieve everything with a System Restore or uninstalling the driver and network adapter in Control Panel. If you have CCleaner and Drivesweeper I'd run those removing anything associated with network. I'd say download them if you don't but you probably can't get on the net w/o a network card. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DELL XPS Studio 435T OS Vista 64 Ultimate, Windows 7 64 Ultimate, Ubuntu 9.10 CPU i7 975 3.3 GHz Extreme (Factory OC'd to 3.6 GHz) Motherboard DELL provided Memory 18 Gb Tri-Channel 1066 Graphics Card ATI 5970 2048 Mb Sound Card X-Fi Extreme Gamer Monitor(s) Displays Vizio 37" HD-TV Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Performance K350 Wireless Mouse Logitech Performance MX Wireless PSU DELL Provided 475 watts Case DELL Cooling 3 fans Hard Drives 1.5 Tb HDD

okay i tried the asus drivers and i tried to do a install repair but it never gave me the option it wouldn't even let me do a full re-install. I changed my boot options and did boot from disk and with the windows disk and the repair disk it searches for windows versions and takes me to the system recover options.
i think all i need is the network controller driver for windows7 | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number custom OS windows 7 CPU athalon 6400+ black edition Motherboard Asus M2N-E SLI Memory 4gb 2x2gb cosair xms ddr 2 800 Graphics Card radeon 5770 Sound Card onboard Monitor(s) Displays 40 in toshiba 1080p and 22 in LG Hard Drives 300gb velociraptor 10,000 rpm |

Try to see if you can use recovery manager to install the individual drive it had factory installed. Should be in advanced options. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number compaq cq50-209wm OS windows 7 CPU intel network controller driver accidently removed can't find driver problems?
