Base system device driver missing

I have windows 7 ultimate I get base system device missing. How can I fix this Please I need help. Thank you

Hi rainman2 , the base system device is more than likely to be an sd card reader , please give us a little more info on your system model, manf and we will be able to assist you further

Thanks for the reply. My system model is HP Pavilion DV 6000 using widows 7 ultimate.
In device manager it shows 2 Base system devices. Then I do a search and it says Base System Device Missing.I hope I am giving the right description of my problem.
