    dongle driver help

    Hi
i recently had windows 7 put on my Dell laptop, i have been using vista and my Three donlge has been working fine, it now wont connect in windows 7 and keeps coming up with No Network Found, we went into the Three shop and they were really unhelpfull and didnt know why it wouldnt work, i have since been told by a few computer tech guys that i need to download a Dongle Driver to able it to work, could anyone help with where i might be able to find a link to download it?

    thanks in advance

I'm guessing??? a "Three donlge" is a network card? Have you checked the manufactures website to see if there are any Windows 7 drivers available???

Sorry I can't be of any further help since I don't know what the item is or who makes it.

    Help us out here.

I'm betting that :Three Dongle" is a USB thumb drive? I would do the following:

    1) UNINSTALL the software that requires the dongle.
    2) Manually go thru the system registry and delete all references to your software and maybe "three dongle"
    3) Unless your software says otherwise, insert the dongle first.
    4) Re-install the software.

Windows 7 may not have recognized the dongle when win 7 was installed as an upgrade. Another option is to find a program that will tell you which drivers are installed on yoour pc and which ones need updating. I have used driver headquarters in the past. It's $29.99, but does a fairly good job of finding outdated drivers, and allows you to download the most current. This MAY solve any driver related issues with your dongle, or at least give a clue as to where you can get the latest driver.

    Hi
Download threes dongle software uninstall tool from there web site www.three.co.uk/aboutmymobile. Run this and reboot. Download and install win7 driver from same website. Install this and reboot again. Then insert your modem and let the install run. This should solve the problem. Once up and running download the software upgrade from three and run. This flashes a new version of the three dashboard software and win7 drivers to your modem so you wont have to do all this again
    Hope this helps
