I'm betting that :Three Dongle" is a USB thumb drive? I would do the following:
1) UNINSTALL the software that requires the dongle.
2) Manually go thru the system registry and delete all references to your software and maybe "three dongle"
3) Unless your software says otherwise, insert the dongle first.
4) Re-install the software.
Windows 7 may not have recognized the dongle when win 7 was installed as an upgrade. Another option is to find a program that will tell you which
drivers are installed on yoour pc and which ones need updating. I have used
driver headquarters in the past. It's $29.99, but does a fairly good job of finding outdated
drivers, and allows you to download the most current. This MAY solve any
driver related issues with your dongle, or at least give a clue as to where you can get the latest
driver.
