    Epson Aculaser C2000

I use a networked Aculaser 2000, and on XP the native epson driver/utility allows full printing options including the use of full duplex printing. Epson do not produce a native driver/utility for Windows 7. Consequently Win7 loads a standard microsoft driver (its good that I can still use the Aculaser!). When using this driver it does not have the capability of choosing duplex printing. Eg when using it from Word 2010. Has anyone used or seen a work around to allow duplex printing with an Aculaser C2000? Fortunately I just dual boot into XP but I'd rather have a W7 option. Mike

The epson downloads refer to solving network connectivity only, and the out of the box drivers are not epson native drivers and do not support duplexing. I already spoke to epson regarding this, and was hoping someone else had thought of a work around for duplexing apart from taking the paper out and turning it over! M

There server is down at the mo, but thanks for the nudge, going into the devices and printers on Win7, looking in detail at the driver options, it would seem that it hadnt picked up the fact that I had a duplexer. There is an option to select it as installed. And great it now prints both sides, what a great forum this is. Good to have another lateral thinking opinion. Pity Epson support didnt know the answer! Thanks again. M

Hi Mike 8. I'm a newbie to W7 and also having duplex issues with my Epson C2800. Could you please give me the link to the driver download that now lets you print duplex. Many thanks.
