Netgear WG111 Won't Work?

Hello I have this Netgear WG111 and it won't work on my Windows 7 computer. Here is a link to the one I have Answer.

I install the software version 2.1 and when I try to open the program it won't open.

Help! ASAP! Thanks!

Hi wdlax11, welcome to the forums , try in stalling the drivers in compat mode Compatibility Mode

That particular adaptor is very problematic with Windows 7, in most cases it cannot be made to work no matter which drivers you use. This same problem has come up countless times over in the networking section of the forum with no clear resolution. There are also complaints about that adaptor not working with Windows 7 all over the internet. My advice would be to use another network adaptor.

Sorry if this isn't the answer you wanted to hear but at least now you know what the problem is.
