    SD card reader not working

I dont know why it is not reading, Last time i used it was a couple months ago and everything worked fine. Now all of a sudden today it isnt working. Ive been reading a lot on how it could be a windows 7 update or my drivers are installed wrong.. (sorry i cant really remember exactly what it said). Also my computer wont read my usb for my digital camera but works fine for my ipod and everything else! ANDD my cd drive isnt working... any ideas on why?

I couldn't find the Mfg for the card reader...but it could be uninstalled from the "Programs& Features", aswell you should uninstall the drivers from the "Devices Manager".
When no card SD inserted, it doesn't appear in the devices manager, therefore you'll have to follow that tutorial: Hidden Devices and add:
-DEVMGR_SHOW_DETAILS and set to value 1
-DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES and set to value 1...

Reinstall the card reader drivers from your Manufacturer AsusTek.

For your Camera it might be just to enable in it the USB Connection only?

Does the CD Drive appear in Computer?

    Try Unistalling in Device Manager
    Then Control panel
    Then Local Disk
And restart computer and then format if you can
    then see if it works

    Good Luck

Might try that for the CD Drive:

    This worked for me.

Turn the computer off and unplug. Wait a few seconds and plug back in and turn on. It happens a few times a year. I have no idea why the drive letters disappear from the 9 in 1 internal card reader.

    I'm using windows 7 x64 bit.

    Hope this helps other people

It looks like those are distinct different problems.

    1. The SD card reader often looses power - on some makes (e.g. if you use "safely remove"). Does the little green light go on when you insert an SD card? If not, reboot the system.
    2. The camera problem is most likely a driver problem. Did the camera come with a Win7 compatible installation disk?
    3. The CD problem could be an upper/lower filter problem. This fixes it: Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
