Do you have all your updates via windows update? Have you got this installed? Right now im downloading the VAIO update software, will let u know if it work. (download is veeeeery slow) |

| | Good idea, you'll probably get a bunch of updates through that. How about some of those other questions, windows update, VAIO Camera Capture Utility software, any answers on those? Keep us posted. |

| | this might be late but i had the same problem..black screen with green light when shown a torch light or any light. i have visual arcsoft( i dont know what u have) if u havent fixed it yet. here's how i did it : 1. open your webcam icon 2. on the top right click on webcam settings or Ctrl+W 3. press default near the bottom of the box that appears. 4. then click on camera control tab on the top of the box. 5. Then press default>Apply>then OK! yep this worked for me. hope this works for u  |

| | Welcome to Seven forums. As a last resort you can als go to device manager>click on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id> Copy and paste the hardware ID string and we can use it to lok for a suitable 64bit driver. Thanks. Fabe |
