rebuild driver list?

hello, back then when i am using vista, i found a thread where i can rebuild my inf list, because windows cannot find the drivers due to corrupted inf list, can it still be done here on windows 7? cant seem to find them now..

anybody know why windows cannot find the drivers? or how to rebuild inf list? TIA

You can get a list of all your drivers by
Typing cmd in search
Then in cmd type driverquery.
