TRENDnet TEW 635 Problems

Hi, I have recently acquired a TRENDnet TEW635BRM Wireless N ADSL Modem Router. When trying to install it, instead of going to a setup page, it tries to "connect using broadband connection". This is driving me nuts, as I cannot set it up to access the net. When I connected it to a computer running XP, everything worked fine, setup was completed within less then 5 minutes. I'm so that I am thinking of installing XP on the new laptop and chucking Windows 7 Home Basic in the dustbin. Is there any way to access the setup in order to run the router on Windows 7, alternatively, can anyone tell me how to install XP on it. I tried, but it tells me there is a problem in windows XP when it is about 2 minutes into the installation.

Thanks in advance

J

It takes sometimes for Windows 7 to be recognize from the router.

You might want to plug first with a wired cable.

Then on Wi-fi, reset the wi-fi button on your router more than once to force it to trigger Windows 7.
