Windows 7 Ultimate X64 SP1

Indeed I can

HP Deskjet 1280 Printer series*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center if you have 32 bit Windows

HP Deskjet 1280 Printer series*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center if you have 64 bit Windows.

They are Vista drivers so follow the instructions here: Drivers - Install Vista Drivers on Windows 7 to install. (shameless plug of my own tutorial lol)

Win7 Ultimate x64

Hmm

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me on Win7 Ultimate (64 bit).

Note that for me the printer is connected to a network device. When I choose 'Have Disk' and point to the Vista drivers you linked to above, unzipped to a temp folder, I get the error message:
The folder you specified doesn't contain driver software for your device. Select a folder that contains your driver software and try again.
Any other ideas? @gleonard, did you get this working?

EDIT: I am a numpty. Nevermind me -- it's working now. Thanks very much for the information.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I have been struggling to install my HP Deskjet 1280 printer on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I phoned HP customer support - they couldn't have been less helpful!

Eventually I managed to install the driver for Vista Home Premium 64 bit. It seems to work OK.

I installed my HP DeskJet 1280 as a HP DeskJet 1220C using the default Windows 7 drivers. It works perfectly.
