MOBO update can't find need some help
my computer specs: just added 4GB RAM plus anew video card. reason why i am looking for an update is bc my usable RAM is 2.67GB out of 4 GB. HP Pavilion a1120n Desktop PC Product Specifications - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

HardwareID = MAC address? For MoBo and USB devices? Find out model?
Just to clarify my point of view: The hardwareID is not (never) equal to the MAC address Even not for network cards. is that correct? Is there a way to find out the - vendor - model name for a given hardwareID?

If device manager is happy that W7 has managed to find drivers for everything automatically, would the team recommend leaving well alone or going for the mobo vendors drivers? (I ask because all was well until I installed the Asus W7 drivers for my P5Q...) Steve

Hi everyone, trying to find out the brand/model of my motherboard, Hewlett-Packard only lists it as Quanta 3602 (which i have searched for and found nothing). If anyone can help me with this search it would be greatly appreciated.
