when I updated from Windows 7 X32 to X64 my
drivers did not work for the Texas Instruments PCI-8x12/7x12/6x12 CardBus Controller in my laptop. This basicly lets you read SD cards and other cards. Here are instructions to make it work in Windows 7 X64.
This method also works for:
Xp x32 and x64
vista x32 and x64
7 x32 and x64

Part 1:
so first step is to open device manager:
1) click the "start orb"
2) search "device manager"
3) select device manager from the list
4) there should be two devices listed, if not and there is only one dont wory.

5) download this file:
ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/note...I_v2_0_0_7.zip
6) save and extract it to the desktop(for easy acesability)
7) it should have created a folder named "CardR_TI_v2_0_0_7"
8) go back in device manager
Part 2:
1) right click on "mass storage controller"
2) select "update
driver software"
3) select "browse my computer for driver software"

4)navigate to: CardR_TI_v2_0_0_7/Windows/tiinst/Vista64

5)then select next, it will install the driver
6) you should get to this screen:

Part 3:
1) now you can exit device manager
2) navigate to the desktop and the "CardR_TI_v2_0_0_7" folder
3)run the install

4)you should see this screen. after that it will seem inactive, but just wait a few seconds:

5)you will get a TI PCI setup manager. click next

6)Acept the licence agreement.

7)it will now install

8)congradulations, you finished the install I recomend you restart.
