    BlueTooth drivers

    Good day..

I have posted something like this up already, but I can't seem to find a solution.

i have a Canyon Bluetooth device.

    CNR-BTU5

And this drivers doesn't work with Window 7..

On device manager, it saids it's present, but when i try to send and do things, it's like as if it's NOT there..

i tried using bluesoliels and it worked.. But then the side effect was that there was a BSOD... and if it's the later versions you have to pay..

So I'm just looking for something that could work with the BT device.. to I can connect my phone and do presentations on it.. Instead of having to plug in the cable...

If someone can help, that would be GREAT!

    Thanks

Besides the original BT installation discs, the only decent available solutions nowadays are either the Windows BT stack -- which has very few compatible devices -- or the BlueSoleil suite.

While I've never experienced any BSOD in BlueSoleil -- and I have way over a dozen random BT-enabled devices which I eventually connect to my 64-bit machine, ranging from mouses, keyboards, phones, headsets, home stereo, my car' sound head unit... --, I'm pretty happy with this piece of software.

Anyway, if you aren't willing to spend money on software, I would at least suggest you to try to search Canyon's website for driver updates. Or to search for a new dongle, Win7 compatible out of the box -- which may be cheaper than BlueSoleil.

Here's a list found I've found on MS website: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...tooth+Adapters

    Hey
I did search their website, and emailed them.. They replied and said that they are not planning to make the drivers win 7 compatible...

But I'll try to window 7 one..

I know blue soleil doesn't give blue screen, but I was talking about the free version, like the version 2 that came with my BT dongle (But that was because it wasn't made for Win7.. )
