Win7 drivers! Ok, i have installed Windows 7 yesterday for the 1st time on my PC.
My pc components are next: Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20Ghz
RAM memory: 1.50 GB
System type: 32-bit
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon x1600 series (but gonna change it soon)
So, I have 2 questions to ask. Question 1:
Am I gonna have problems with Windows 7 with those components above? Question 2:
Because ATI didn't release drivers for my graphic card from X series of cards,
am I gonna be able to use Vista x32bit drivers, are they compatible for Windows 7? Thanks. | My System Specs |

2. If you can add some, it will make a difference as to how your PC runs, but what you have now should be good. I will buy 1GB more... which should be enough for x32 bit version, right? | My System Specs

I will buy 1GB more... which should be enough for x32 bit version, right? yeah since 32-bit won't see more than 3gig ram. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit CPU Intel® Core™2 Quad Q6600 G0 Motherboard Asus P5K Memory 4GB OCZ DDR2 800 Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1024MB Sound Card Mobo Built-in Monitor(s) Displays Benq V2400W Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 PSU Corsair HX620 Case Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 Cooling Air Hard Drives 1TB Internet Speed Roger's Extreme Other Info Logitech Z-5500 THX® Certified 5.1 |

You'll be fine. 2.5GBs is ample for a decent performance. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

Quote: . You should upgrade your RAM, 1.5GB is barely sufficient for most applications, you should have at least 2GB Depends on what you are going to be running. If you're going to treat this machine like XP, I would just disable a bunch of the unnecessary system processes and services with msconfig, it'll drastically speed things up. If you want to game on it or play any resource heavy programs (maya, photoshop, etc...), I'd definitely get more RAM. Otherwise aim for somewhere between 30-50 processes running (you can check with Task Manager). But aside from that, if this is a laptop, I wouldn't use it for gaming anyway. | My System Specs | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:33 PM.
