| | Intel Mobile Chipset 4 autodownloads driver then kills itself. I ran a software update and installed the latest Intel Mobile Chipset 4 drivers, and the screen blacks out in the middle of the install. this continue for ten minutes until the computer sleeps, and restrting fails to boot to the login menu. I use Safe mode to uninstall the drivers, and on the next boot the computer works, and installs drivers. after a reboot everything is working. but three minutes after the reboot, the auto updator rcognizes new drivers, and installs and kills the computer again faster before I can stop it. help? |

| | What auto-updater? If it is one of those driver update programs, either turn it off or get rid of it. |
