PCI drivers not made for x64?

    Good evening everyone =)

First post to the site, though I frquent it often!

    I have this PCI Card
    CompUSA.com | QLR460 | Lorex QLR460 PC Surveillance DVR

but the drivers are not made for x64..
Is there any workarounds you guys can think of? Would it work in a virtual box?

    Thanks in advance :)

Where did you find the drivers before? If you can find Vista x64 drivers they will work.

Only x32 bit drivers are listed on the site :-/

Would it work in a virtual pc?

I see now. I'm not sure if you can install drivers inside XP mode or not. It might be something worth looking up. If the device is attached but has no drivers, some problems might occur. Then again, they might not. I would definitely try doing it in XP Mode and see what happens. That is what its for after all. Good luck.

When loading 32 bit drivers in XP MODE, make sure to turn off " UAC " control by sliding the slider to the bottom first. Then re-boot machine. Right click .exe file of driver and run in "XP SERVICE PACK 3 " mode and click " OK " Then right click the driver .exe file and run as administrator: The drivers then should install in the (X86) part of the programme files. This has worked for me for several drivers. Worth a try.
