@PorterMonkey: It's an *.exe that launches at startup, though you can disable auto-startup if you want. It works perfectly. I'd be liking Windows 7 a whole lot less without ShellFolderFix.

Correct. I have it launch at startup, as most people will. Still, you have the ability to turn in on only when you want to, or to leave it on all the time.

One more reason for me to not use Windows 8.

If you read my more recent post, it works fine under Win 8. I had to uninstall SFF and reinstall it for some reason to make it work.

I've been running your software on my Win 8 Pro system but have found it to be increasingly unstable.
BUT!!! I think your software is so valuable that I would gladly pay for it.
I'm urging you to develop a new/updated version that works with Windows 7/8 and that is more stable than what you have presently. I know (or am pretty sure) that all of your loyal fans would be willing to pay and test as you develop.
Please let me know your thoughts on this and if you would consider offering a paid version?
Thanks.
Laribus.
