Just want to jump into the discussion and say this app is great. It is also so pretty, but I can't get preferences to work. It pulls up a exception error

I'm on Windows 7 Using Portable Version
Can you go to the reliability history and find the crash. View technical details and post a screenshot of tha please.

Also if possible can you try the install version and let me know if it works.

    Thanks

Can you check if there is a config.ini file where you have the shutdown timer executable

I found out what the problem could be,
Can you put just the Shutdown Timer.exe file in it's own folder and that's it.

    Then run it.

Also what version are you using 32bit or 64?

I'm running 32bit. I just tried that and still no go. It seems to be looking in the AppData folder. Is this the problem?

Yes that's what the problem is, it seem's it's looking in the appdata normally that's where the main program's config is.

I'll recode it and upload a different version in the next few minutes.

np, I don't want to be giving out software that doesn't work and that's what the feedback's for :)

I have now fixed the problem, if you download from the website again it should be working fine.
