If you look around the documentation, you'll find that making things transparent is easy, and that's most of my program.

    Code:
    WinSet, Transparent, ###, ahk_class
Simple as that. :) Replace the ### with the transparency number and the ahk_class with the class of the window, there you go.

However, some of the newer features at a tad bit more complicated...
I'm mostly talking about the gui. I guess whats easy to me is hard to you and vise versa.

Ahha. GUI took a long time to make, but I guess it was worth it in the end. :)

Just look up "GUI" in the documentation.

Prisoner, is there any way the bug using image editing applications with aero crashing, can be fixed?
Also it also crashes if you are making a theme in Windows Style Builder and testing it

Well, I could always set it to turn transparency off if these windows are detected (maybe).

Also, I would like to know if anyone has any more features.
I'm sure that changing hotspot areas would be one, I'm working on it... but hopes are not high.

I was fooling around with this at work and now it won't turn off transparency in Firefox. Any suggestions?

I think there's a hotkey hidden in there somewhere that is meant to fix this problem. Check "Help with Hotkeys" on the main page of the app.

    The hotkey doesn't do anything...

as you can see, it's off but Firefox is still transparent.

It should work, it's always worked for me. I believe you can get that side effect off if you just take the shortcut out of your startup folder if it's there and logoff/reboot.

I turned it off completely and restarted it. Now it's back to normal. Strange that the hotkey doesn't work for me here. I'll test it at home tonight

Excellent work, Prisoner, Congrats & Thanks!!!
    My comments :
    - i would like different settings (for taskbar & windows, for exemple). Is it enable yet, or simply doable?
    - i would definitely vote for an explorer background setting...
    - i've met some prob with yahoo widgets (sometimes totally blacked... but not sure it's because of your app...)
    - i second here the SG9's idea about donation... You don't need a credit card to get a Paypal account, only an e-mail and a current bank account... Think about it... !

And Congrats for the gadget minimizer too!!!
