    sshnas21.dll

I Installed a new AV, restarted the computer and at the sturtup i got a message error H:\Windows\System32\sshnas21.dll could not be found. The gadgets become black again. I ran a deep system scan, 3 items were infected and deleted. I dont get the error message on the sturtup anymore, but my gadgets are black again and I don't know what to do. At least i brought a good AV.

Try opening command prompt as admin and type: sfc /scannow and press enter.

Windows Sidebar - Gadget Not Displayed Correctly - Vista Forums

    Close Windows Sidebar

    Open task manager Ctrl+Shift+Esc

Processes tab> Right click on sidebar.exe and choose End Process

    Open an advanced command prompt

Start> Type cmd in search box> Right click on cmd.exe in results above> choose Run as administrator

Type the following and press Enter after each:

    regsvr32 msxml3.dll

    regsvr32 scrrun.dll

    regsvr32 jscript.dll

Restart your PC and see if that has fixed it. A Guy

Welcome to Seven Forums xavier0156. You can try a couple of things.

Start> In search box type turn windows features on or off and press enter

    Gadget black error-gadgets.jpg

Untick box next to Windows Gadget Platform, and restart. Reverse procedure and put tick mark next to Gadget Platform again. See if this fixed it.

If no, try the System Files Checker

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Let us know how it goes. A Guy

    Hello everyone!
I have the same problem as szilvia, although mine isn't fixed.
I have followed both of the tutorials that A Guy posted above but the problem hasn't been fixed yet. A sfc /scannow command was run afterwards, and no integrity violations were found on my PC.

Is there any other way I could get this problem fixed?

    Thank you!

Welcome to Seven Forums avi8tor01. Have you tried a freshly downloaded gadget after doing all the steps above? If so, and still the same error, you can do a repair install and still keep all your files and settings.

    Repair Install
