Windows 7: Cannot find gadgets anywhere

My gadgets are totally missing. I have not used them in a long time and I think I deleted them somehow. Is there a way I can get that functionality back? I did not disable them. The Group policy settings are not configured. I cannot search them on my cpanel, personalization, desktop right-click... they are totally gone. Well, except for the gadgets folder but it is empty too.

Anybody know of a way to re-install gadget functionality?

Do a system restore to a point when you still had your gadgets...

Thanks for the response but that would be close to 6-7 months ago. I have backups since that time but I do not want to go through that hassle of reconfiguring everything. Any other ideas?

That depends on how badly you need/want the gadgets... you could simply re download/install them..

But I cannot find the gadgets anywhere. It does not show up in appearance and personalization, cpanel, or under searches (see photos attached.) Thank you for the link, I looked at that before.

Type features in start menu search, and make sure you have that box checked in the features, follow the prompts.
